Generally accepted accounting principles and the sarbanes-oxley act

Write a 2-3 page paper.  In your paper include the following:

• An explanation on  the purpose of the “Generally Accepted Accounting Principles” and the “Sarbanes-Oxley Act” and the role that both of these play within the arena of financial markets or marketplaces
• Please include information and topics from our chapter readings to justify your explanation and reasoning
